Why do people pop there collars?

seriously.. it looks horrible on almost EVERYONE who does it... i think it can only be pulled off by a man who just got off work and is in a bar, with a loosened tie to go with it. Whats with all these teeny boopers with there layered popped collars and tilted white hats.

Reply:Im from Australia, and in Australia with our school uniform it symbolises who is in and who is not. If you pop your collar it is telling the younger students that you are cool, and that you are better than every one else. on the girl it means that they are datting one of the cool guys.
