What is a current stereotype for Jersey Girls?

...or girls from NY that spend a lot of time at the Jersey Shore in the summer, what I generally just call "the beach", since I live here.


Big hair can not be an answer - that's LONG gone!





I have friends visiting from out of state next week and I want them to "fit in" while they're here. The guy grew up here and moved away 2 years ago. It's supposed to be a joke... I already have the pink shirt with the "popped" collar for the guy, need something for the girl.

The latest is that they live off the toinpike next to the exploding nukulah plant by the shoah, oba at joisy.
Reply:It's funny, most of the people that portray these stereotypes didn't grow up @ the Jersey Shore. They either come down from north Jersey or NY. The "accent" is not typical of most New Jerseyians. Anyway, got her a bottle of tanning lotion. Thanks for the answers! Report It

I wore cut-offs at the beach and a bikini top..... with a t-shirt over it...... and Tevas.... they were in then too.....
