Wouldn't you love to pop a small video camera on your cats collar to see where it goes at night!?

and during the day, i think it would be interesting. I like my little boy cat and I wanna know where the pretty little thing goes!

Additional question, how do people care for cats who live in cities, do you worry about traffic and nasty dogs etc?

I would like to put one on my dog's collar, but not on the cat or rabbit since they are lazy bums.
Reply:yeah i would love to know where my cat goes... i have a male cat he is 10 months old ans he disappers for ages i worry about him..its amazing how you get attached to them so easily i love my cats so much he is a little darling.
Reply:I know where my 5 Siamese cats are at night . In the house where they are safe!
Reply:I know where my cats go. They stay at home. All are indoor cats, All are very happy healthy contented cats, I know they are away from the dangers of the outside. cars Other cats dogs, Cruelty from other humans. Away from poisonus plants and getting trapped in places. no chance of them being stolen. Indoor cats usually have a longer lifespan as they are generally more healthier pets. I wouldnt risk my cats life and let it go outside
Reply:Id love to do that, mine doesnt go far, over the nighbours garden and round the fields, but I would love to see exactly what she gets up to.

I live in the city by a main road, but she never goes on the road, she usually goes over the back field or if she goes round the road way she trots along the pavement.
Reply:Yes.
Reply:I'm starting to really love my girlfriends cat, and I do believe it goes on all sorts of adventures at night. I'd be afraid that if I put a camera on the Liger, then I could be disappointed when all she does is go to the sh*tbox.
Reply:It's better than watching Love Island.
Reply:A lot of people restrict their cats activities due to the dangers of traffic, aggressive dogs, neighbors that don't like cats pooing in their gardens and who WILL poison or otherwise harm them.

I have cat fence-in in my back garden. It's a pretty sterile environment in that birds are smart enough to stay away and there are no mice to catch. Occasionally a small lizard or snake gets caught. They do have the benefit of sunshine and fresh air every day, and almost as much space out there as in the house, for chasing around.
Reply:I would LOVE to know where my cats go at night, or in the day for that matter.

I bet they live in 5 other houses and just come to me for feeding. LOL
Reply:prout
Reply:thats a great idea
Reply:Could be the new reality TV show. Top cat watch out!
Reply:yes!!! me and my brother had this idea: you put a radar on your cats collar so that if they are missing, you can log onto you wheresmycat.com and you will be able to see a map with your cat as a little red dot and where he is! then you coudl go get him, or whatever you want. the camera seems like an advanced version.

as far as living in the city- i am worried constantly! i started letting my cat out sometimes at night, never on weekends. only weeknights. i live near a really busy street and ive never seen any cats down in the area. as far as dogs go, i would imagine your cat shoudl know enough to stay away. good luck!
Reply:ABSOLUTLY!!! not only at night, but also during the day when I'm not home. I very curious as to what they "really" do! LOL!! oh, and people who live in the city shoud be responsible enough to keep their cats strictly indoors. I do and I live in Dallas. it's very dangerous for cats here for a variety of reasons.
Reply:yes i would like to see where mine go it would be cool
Reply:I wish I had one on my cat that is missing so I could find where the heck he IS...):
Reply:Great Idea!!! I love it. Yes I am very curious just like cats are and I always want to know why, when and where.
Reply:I would love to know where my cat goes he comes home smelling of perfume!!
Reply:LOL I would love to do that, 2 see where my 2 go is well.
Reply:i too would love to know but your pretty little boy cat is more like a rampant tom seeking raw....... best if you dont go there remain dissolusioned is nicer.
Reply:Mine would just sleep and eat :(
Reply:What a brilliant idea! I have recently been adopted by a cat but I'm quite sure I'm not its only 'owner' - it's probably got half the neighbourhood at its beck and call!

My husband recently told me that the difference between dogs and cats is that dogs have owners and cats have servants!

Back to the video idea though, I'd probably end up being extremely envious when I discover that my cat has a better social life than me!
Reply:hopefully around the house...dont let your cat outside...make sure he is neutered too...
Reply:my cat stays inside, so I would not be interested in where she goes at night or in the day.
Reply:You'd probably get 9 and a half hours of sleeping, 1/2 hour of action.
Reply:Definitely, as my cat tends to go in my neighbours houses. I'll be able to see if they chase her out or boot her.
Reply:mine stays inside so i have nothing to be worried about. But your ideas is really great! Try to get this small gadget to "spy" on your kitty:)
Reply:Oh definately my cat use to go missing for 2-3 days at a time i'd love to have known what he got up to.
Reply:Unless you never get squeamish, dont put a camera on your cat, coz that so called pretty little thing will be busy ripping the heads off of mice, birds and tearing the innards out of baby rabbits, which I think are all far prettier than any nasty cat! And don't think for a minute that yours doesn't do that.
Reply:Not really. It'd only see the floor, the bed, the floor, the food dish, the floor, the water bowl, the floor, the bed, maybe one of the other cats running, the floor, the bed...

I avoid the whole outside dangers thing by keeping everybody inside. No one argues with me after I toss them out during their first snow.
