My collar bone keeps popping?

Riding my motorcycle Thursday March 27 2008 and hits some bad gravel and flew off landed on my forearm with it above my head, and heard a loud pop the doctor said there is no sign of broken or fractured bones not even a dislocated collar bone but it continues to pop i wanted to know how long something like this will last or should i get a second opinion?

I would if I was you goto a different hospital in a different city (larger one) and get another opinion........





I fell a few years back and done damage to my Right Shoulder, I at that time heard a pop in my collar bone area and a great deal of pain.........my doctor here where I live (ohio) said that I didn't have anything to worry about with my collarbone that it was all in my shoulder.........





Well, I continued to have problems with my Collarbone for about 1 year and I went to another place larger and then X-rayed me and said that I had a very seriously broken Collarbone and that it was healing just fine, but, it would hurt for many years to come, since it should have been pinned and repaired shortly after I did it........





So, go get another Opinion, it maybe nothing, but, it might be something?????

Reply:This could be a soft tissue injury, and those do not show up in x-rays. If there is no inflammation, I would talk to a massage therapist. ok listen try to keep your arm at rest for a couple of days and if it starts to pop or hurt then contact your doctor again.
