Are their any women who like to wear a POPPED COLLAR to parties or more classy sophisticated events?

I am researching the POPPED COLLAR trend and would like to see if women have or will wear pop their collar at more classy sophisticated affairs. If you do please feel free to give detail as to what kind of collar you popped, when this was done (time frame) and what accompanied this popped collar look. The more detail the better, thank you.

This is too funny. Well, the only collar that I am poppin is the collars on my trench coats when I am walking the streets on Manhattan. It looks really chic and mysterious to do that to a coat. I would NOT do that to my dress shirt though. That takes a different %26amp; more daring woman to do that!

Reply:I wouldn't wear a popped collar if you paid me to. However, I don't like anything touching my neck. Looking at other people, though, I don't think it makes them look any more classy than someone w/o it.
Reply:hmmmmm... its more of a teenager/high school trend. I wouldnt reccomend wearing it to classy places.
